At FATF (Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering, the Intergovernmental Meeting to Promote International Cooperation in Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism), Myanmar was designated as a high-risk country and region last autumn.

Considering international situation, we will keep on obtaining a recipient’s ID for identity verification as essential item when registering as a recipient of remittances to Myanmar. It is also required to obtain the recipient’s date of birth.

Members who have registered recipients who have not yet declared their IDs for identity verification will be contacted by the Company to obtain their IDs, so we ask for your cooperation.
