Information on alternative remittance service due to partial suspension of our international remittance services

Thank you very much for using SBI Remit International Remittance service.

 

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers due to system maintenance due to some service outages.

It turned out that the cause of the system trouble was that some malfunction occurred in the remittance service from the website (Online Services). We are currently working hard to restore, but it takes time to correct system defects and system upgrade, and it will take a while for restarting Online Services. Regarding the timing of resumption, we would like to announce to you again on our website in due course.Therefore please refrain from depositing to the bank account for Online Services while the service is suspended.

 

At the same time, we would like to inform you of the remittance methods as below which could replace our Online Services for customers who are inconvenienced by the delay of recovery.

With these alternative remittance services, you can also transfer money directly to greater number of overseas banks’ accounts over Online Services, such as to China, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Peru etc.  Since fees are offered at the same level as Online Services.

  • 1.Furikomi remittance service

It is a service that completes the remittance procedure by transferring remittance funds from financial institutions nationwide (online banking, ATM, window etc).

Using remit card issued by our company, you can complete remittance procedure by placing cash from Yucho Bank ATM (about 27,300 units nationwide).
