SBI Remit has rolled out its cash pick-up service using MoneyGram’s network.
Receive Money
Funds can be remitted in about 10 minutes* via MoneyGram’s affiliate offices. * It may take from
a few hours up to two days or so, depending on the remittance method and the business hours/handling conditions of
the overseas affiliate office.
Receivers can pick up cash at their nearest agent, even if they don’t have a bank account.
About the Receiving Agencies
The MoneyGram service is available in each country; visit their website for more information about
receiving agencies in your area.
Customers can now send and receive up to 96,000 USD in a 12-month period
Send or receive up to 10,000 USD per transaction.
When a consumer reaches a combined send/receive total of 24,000 USD in a 6 month period, or 72,000 USD within a 12
month period, the transaction will be placed on hold.
The consumer will need to call MoneyGram to complete the transaction. Consumers may be asked for information
such as purpose of transaction, source of income and whether they plan to send or receive additional transactions
with MoneyGram.
This allows both MG and the consumer to feel comfortable completing the transaction.

Bill Pay limits remain unchanged.
*Please note depending on your usage, further restrictions may be imposed, even if the remittance falls within the
scope of the restrictions listed above.
*Pursuant to the Payment Services Act, the Foreign Exchange Act and the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal
Proceeds, we may need to check the details of your transactions.
Important information in regard to the United States and Canada:
In the United States and Canada, there may be a difference in the allowable amounts for cash pick-up
and the type of ID required. This depends on MoneyGram compliance required by the local agency. If the full
remittance is required in cash, the recipient should check the type of ID documents needed and maximum cash amount
allowable at the local agency in advance. Please contact the MoneyGram call center or the agency concerned.
*If prior checks are not made, some or all of the remittance amount
may be received as a money order rather than cash. Only local residents are able to convert money orders into
cash.

Japanese is not included as a language option in the automated message provided by the MoneyGram Call
Center. To use the Japanese language service, please choose English first by pressing 1 on your telephone
