What exchange rate (at which specific point in time) is used to convert the funds remitted? After I deposited funds at a convenience store, the exchange rate in the email I received was different from that shown on the screen at the time the remittance was processed. Why is that?

The applicable exchange rate varies depending on the remittance method. Please see below for details.

 

Online Remittance
The applicable exchange rate is the one valid at the point in time the remittance is requested.

 

Remit Card
The applicable exchange rate is the one valid at the point in time the Reference Number(RN)is issued.

 

Furikomi Remittance
The applicable exchange rate is the one valid at the point in time we obtain confirmation of the funds deposited.

 

Convenience Store Remittance
The applicable exchange rate is the one valid at the point in time we obtain confirmation of the funds deposited.
It takes around one hour for us to obtain a deposit report from the time a customer deposits funds at a convenience store.
