FAQ (Residency period update)
I forgot to update the date of expiry of my residency, so I cannot use do transactions from SBI Remit NEOBANK. Do I need to go through any procedures to do banking transactions again?
Three months prior to the expiration date of your residency, SBI Remit will send you an email to renew the date of expiry of your residency. Follow the instructions here to update the date of expiry registered in your SBI Remit membership information. When the update is complete, SBI Remit will send you an email confirming the completion of update of the date of expiry of your residency.
Once your date of expiry is updated at SBI Remit, the information on the date of expiry held at SBI Net Bank will also be automatically changed.
After that, SBI Sumishin Net Bank will remove the transaction restrictions. Bank transactions will be enabled in a few days.
If the transaction restriction cannot be lifted, SBI Remit will contact you separately.
