FAQ (Account Cancellation)
I no longer need my SBI Remit NEOBANK account. What is the procedure for closing an account?
Customers can cancel their SBI Remit NEOBANK account by themselves by accessing the NEOBANK website from the SBI Remit smartphone application and going to “Customer Information” – “Customer Information Inquiry/Change” screen.
Note that this cancellation procedure requires you to register an account at another bank in Japan to which the cancellation settlement amount will be transferred.
Therefore, please prepare a bank account in Japan other than the SBI Remit NEOBANK account where your registered name is the same.
Please follow the steps below to go to the target screen.
① Log in to the SBI Remit smartphone app and tap the NEOBANK button.


② After going to the SBI Remit NEOBANK top page, tap “Customer Information Inquiry/Change”


③ Go to the “Customer Information Inquiry/Change” screen


④ Scroll down the “Customer Information Inquiry/Change” screen and tap “Cancel Representative Account”.


⑤ Go to the “Cancel Representative Account” screen
Follow the screen to close your SBI Remit NEOBANK account.
