  • Q1 How can I check that the recipient has received the funds remitted?

    A1 Please log in to the members’ site and check the status of the remittance under “list of remittance requests.” If the status reads “received,” then the recipient has received the funds remitted. However, please note in advance that it takes a certain amount of time for receipt data to be reflected on the members’ site.

  • Q2 Does the recipient need to pay any costs?

    A2 Not as a rule. However, there may be taxes or similar to pay, depending on the receiving country.

  • Q3 For what period is cash pick-up available? And does the rate change?

    A3 The rate used is the one valid at the time of the remittance request, and cash should be picked up within 45 days. If it is more than 45 days, then a different rate will be used from the one that was valid at the time of the remittance request. Note that the cash cannot be picked up if more than 90 days have elapsed since the remittance request.
